Riding Lessons:

Stella offers english and western riding lessons for riders of all ages.

Para Equestrian:

Para equestrian is an equestrian sport for people with disabilities. Manestream mostly focuses on Para Dressage, which is the meticulous disipline where the rider is marked on demonstrating the training of the horse through different shapes at different places in the arena. In Para Dressage the riders are classified by a physical therapist and put into a grade, which tells them what level of tests they will be riding; as well as what adaption they are allowed to use, such as loops in their reins to help with grip, or elastic bands on their stirrups to help their feet stay steady.

Manestream's para riders are all given the chance to compete in the national Para Equestrian Canada video competition series, as well as local and provinical events such as the BC summer games when they are ready. They also are offered the chance to participate in clinics throughout the year. For entry into our program, riders must be able to sit up on the horse without support, and be working towards riding independantly.

Stellar Steppers:

A new group as of 2016, the Stellar Steppers is a drill team coached by Stella. A drill team is a group of horses and riders performing coreographed movements together, showing harmony, teamwork and horsemanship. Riders can ride side by side in pairs, single file, or in groups doing diferent figures and lines in the arena. The Steppers perform at diffent events throughout the year, and are currently looking for new, dedicated members. Please contact Stella for more information.
